Christopher Askew
Owner
Chris is an award winning multi-media professional, Community Activist, Writer, and entrepreneur. Chris began his journey in media as a successful participant in B.E.T.’s Comic View. As comedian, Chris had the opportunity to work with icons such as Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Rita Rudner, and George Wallace. In 1996, Chris moved to Atlanta and began work at CNN as a Tour Guide. But his aspirations of working on television were in his immediate sights and within grasp. Four months after beginning as a Tour Guide, Chris began work “warming up” the audience for CNN’s live program called TalkBack Live. During his time at CNN, Chris’s positions ranged from Tour Guide to Executive Producer. During this time, Chris Executive Produced and Anchored the award winning series called Full Circle. Soon after, Chris began his career in radio working as a weekend sports radio announcer at WSB in Atlanta. Chris advanced his career in radio by accepting a position as Morning Drive Host on CBS Viacom’s WAOK called UnWrapped. He coined the phrase “Listen, Laugh, and Learn, it’s always about Edutainment and Action.” As a result of his work on WAOK , Chris was recognized by the National Urban League for his commitment to education in the community. Chris created events such as the UnWrapped Family Conference, UnWrapped Image Awards, UnWrapped Saturday Schools program, and monthly UnWrapped Family meetings.

As time progressed, Chris gained valuable experience successfully managing numerous movie sets for numerous productions. Naturally, his movie production education began to blend his television production education, and Locate9 was created.
Chris earned his Bachelor’s degree in English (Summa Cum Laude) and did his graduate work in the field of Communications at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.

Jonathan Cooke's interest in television & film began as a child when his grandmother introduced him into the vast world of film making by assigning him the task of documenting his cousin first prom. After getting his hands on a camera; he hasn't put it down. His work is his passion, and that passion has led him to large projects at a very young age. His career has taken him from intern to assistant director, where his experience has lead him to work with notable networks such as, Turner Broadcasting, TV One, BET, USA, VH1, BRAVO, Uplifting Entertainment, Creative Loafing Atlanta and many more throughout the Atlanta area.
Shaneria White

Shaneria White has been a fan of the industry for as long as she can imagine. She attended an Atlanta university right after high school and went into further studies head first. Shaneria then fell in love with the art of cinematography. She has worked with a handful of amazing directors and producers and can be caught teaching others or learning new things in cinematography.
She also hosts workshops covering camera equipment, lighting and set etiquette. In the near future she has plans to develop a program to teach young adults about media production. In the mean time she expects to help shed the new light on young, female cinematographers and filmmakers.

Kristy Waldburg is a woman of many talents. Her artistic journey began in theatre where she has trained and worked for over 10 years. Performing Off Broadway, stage managing, directing and teaching. In 2013, Kristy decide to expand her horizontal and return to Georgia State University, where she received her B.I.S in Theatre and began working on her B.A in Film. She has been blessed to train under the great Chris Askew and she doesn’t plan to slow down anytime soon. Kristy’s beleives “To whom much is given much is required”- Luke 12:48

Kristen is an Atlanta based actress who has appeared on stage, as well as film and television. Kristen, who goes by Krissy Notes when acting, has been performing since middle-school. She is also an established model and photographer. Kristen recently started her own production company, Noteworthy Productions, which will release its first film in the upcoming months. This will be the first production that Kristen and written and directed.

Jessica Hassler is an Interior designer, that graduated with a degree in Interior design with a concentration in Architectural Design. She graduated with recognition of outstanding achievements in Interior Design and was granted departmental honors. Jessica is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society and has worked alongside Habitat for Humanity to raise funds in her local community. She also valued her experience in college and became one of the select members bestowed the title of school Ambassador. She has an abundance of knowledge for furniture history and design principles, and uses her expertise to create practical and harmonious spaces. Over the years she has worked with various clients to design beautiful living spaces and safe working environments, and is now transitioning those skills to the film industry. Jessica's teamwork approach helps producers, directors, and camera departments achieve strong and beautiful frame composition.
Locate9 Internship Team
We believe that everyone should have an opportunity to operate in his or her dream. That is why Locate9 also has an internship program to given films dreams a chance to work in a business with endless possibilities. In the Locate9 internship the interns will be assigned to a movie or television show that Locate9 is managing. This opportunity will allow them to gain real life experience and gain credits to build their resume.
